Avian Antics began more than 20 years ago, as a small family breeding
operation. For more than 20 years we bred and raised a variety of
Exotic Birds.
In 2002 we closed the Aviary, retired from breeding and
directed our energies toward helping those that help the birds. The number of unwanted parrots, macaws and cockatoos in Rescue or Sanctuary
situations is ever increasing. The thousands of Rescue/Sanctuary
facilities that house and care for these unwanted birds, struggle to
provide proper food, veterinary care, caging and toys for their
feathered charges.
We have been operating our main store; AVIAN ANTICS BIRD TOYS & SUPPLIES
for some years now. We have grown and expanded our main store so
much, that we now operate out of two separate locations. Items found
in this "Boutique" store, ship from our warehouse on our home property
in Michigan. Items found in our main store ship from a separate much
larger warehouse location in Virginia.
