Our wood is not machine processed in China, thus you will find some irregularities in our wood slats, some may be a bit smaller or larger, or thinner or thicker. We get our holes as close to center as possible, however, they are not always exactly centered. We assure you that your birds will not care! Our wood comes from trees grown here in Michigan, much of it on our own property. All of our wood is milled locally to our specifications. Boards are cut and drilled by hand, right here in our own shop. While our slats may not be as perfect as those imported from China, they are safe. No chemicals, no pollutants.
